The 411 on Hemp...

You will notice, hemp butter/oil as the main ingredient in our products, including our moisture bar line. Though hemp butter is almost twice the cost of other butters on the market, there's just no way we could pass it up.  We don't believe in sacrificing quality for costs - I mean where they do that at?! - and we certainly don't believe in promising something we can't deliver.

That said, when we were crafting our moisture bar line, which is a skin dryness solution, we tested ingredients that would truly nourish and moisturize the skin.  It didn't take long for us to realize that hemp butter/oil was the guy to get the job done.

You may not be versed on how badass hemp really is, so let me take a moment to put you deep.

Hemp contains essential fatty acids (omega-6 and omega-3) as well as non-essential polyunsaturated fats that raise the levels of fats in the epidermis and mirror the fatty acid profile in "normal/non-dry" skin.

I know that was a earful and if you aren't familiar with essential fats and their scientific names, you may be blank staring your screen right now.  No worries - here's all your really need to know...

The body doesn't make essential fatty acids, BUT it needs them for it's many functions, and therefore we must get them from outside sources.  Hemp butter and oil actually mirrors the fatty acid profile of normal/non-dry skin.  When applied to skin, the fatty acids lubricate the tissue and cause cell membranes to function normally.  In fact, the essential fats seep below the top layer of the skin (epidermis) acting as an internal moisturizer and helping to combat dryness and skin conditions.

The thing that separates hemp butter from other butters/oils it that it is nice and creamy, very emollient, and doesn't leave a greasy film on the top layer of the skin.

Simply put, hemp regenerates, hydrates and restores skin pH and balance.  Can we say Ah-maze-ing??!!

 Oh and in-case you're wondering...

Traces of hemp will not show up during a screening because the oil does not contain detectable Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), so you are good on that end.  Oh and our bars don't cause the euphoric feeling that weed provides.  Bummer? Maybe so lol
